Hi there! If you're like me, mornings are all about setting the tone for the day ahead. Today, I am thrilled to share with you a peek into my morning ritual that keeps me energized, focused, and ready to embrace whatever comes my way. Because things can get weird fast in my world!

Wake Up with Gratitude

My day begins with a moment of gratitude. As soon as I open my eyes, and after I think about coffee, I take a few minutes to reflect on the things I'm thankful for before I get out of bed. It might be something as simple as a restful night's sleep or the sound of birds chirping outside my window. Or coffee. Starting the day with positive thoughts helps set a joyful and appreciative tone.

Hydrate and Nourish

Next, I head to the kitchen for a tall glass of water with a squeeze of lemon. It's a refreshing way to kickstart my metabolism and hydrate my body after hours of rest. Plus, the vitamin C boost is great for my skin! Then it’s coffee. And more coffee.

CITRUS BREAKFAST

Breakfast is usually a smoothie packed with greens, fruits, and a plant-based protein powder. I love experimenting with different combinations, but one of my favorites includes spinach, banana, blueberries, almond milk, and a spoonful of chia seeds. This blend fuels my body and keeps me feeling full and energized throughout the morning.

Then I move from coffee to green tea. (Did I mention I love caffeine?)

Mindful Movement

Physical activity of some sort is always a part of my morning routine. Whether it's a brisk walk with my dogs or a quick surf, moving my body helps clear my mind and boosts my mood. On days when I'm short on time, even a quick 10-minute stretch session does the trick.

Skincare Ritual

As a beauty enthusiast, my skincare routine is key.

Cleansing is a must: I use Pacifica’s Sea Foam Complete Face Wash, which is gentle yet thorough, removing impurities without stripping the skin of its natural oils.

Serum and Moisturizer always: I love a hydrating serum packed with antioxidants, followed by a nutrient-rich moisturizer. These products help keep my skin plump, radiant, and protected throughout the day. I alternate Vegan Collagen Complex Serum with our vitamin C Glow Baby Booster Serum.

Sunscreen is non-negotiable: I opt for a mineral-based SPF that provides broad-spectrum protection. This step is crucial for maintaining healthy skin. Glow Baby Super Lit SPF Lotion is my favorite at the moment. It is lightly tinted and can be used daily.

With my body nourished and my skin glowing, I take a few moments to set intentions for the day. I'll jot down my top three priorities in a journal and visualize how I want to feel and what I want to accomplish. This practice keeps me focused and motivated, helping me approach my tasks with clarity and purpose.

A Cup of Scented Calm

Before diving into work, I make myself a cup of rose tea. My favorite is from Tulsi. It's a small but meaningful way to carve out a moment of calm before the hustle and bustle begins.

The key is to make time for activities that uplift and nurture you, whatever those may be and however tiny they are. Remember, it's not about perfection but about finding what works best for you and sticking with it. Perfection can often hinder progress—just take the first step. Pretty soon it will be routine.
